I’ve done the clean boot following the instructions and it’s still performing the exact same.

I’d suggest that you re-seat all of your hardware, while you are in there clean any visible dust.

Hi I’ve done this prior to coming to this site and I’ve just done it again and still the same issue. I’m starting to think maybe it is hardware related now

I contacted MSI and they said even though online the recommended is 500w, 450w should be perfectly fine for a 1070 or 1080. My friend has the exact same pc build as me but his system hasn’t had any issues and it’s been 10 months since we built them..

Hux, how about checking the BIOs for the 12 volt rail reading. Sure sounds to me like you need a higher rated PSU. BTW what brand is your current PSU?
