Looking for help, pc for my 10year old

Hi, I’m looking for some help. My 10year old has asked for pc, so she can play Yandere Simulator & Raft.
I’ve found 2 (not wanting to spend £££, which my older sons cost as feel she’s too young currently).
I’ve found the 2 attached, would these be ok to play the games she wants??
Thanks for any help, it’s very appreciated.

    Welcome to PCHF

System 1: HP Z230 Workstation PC System

    [ul]
    [li]CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1241 v3, 4C/8T, up to 3.9GHZ[/li][li]RAM: 32GB[/li][li]Graphics Card: Nvidia Quadro K4000 (dedicated)[/li][li]Storage: 500GB SSD + 1TB HDD[/li][li]ODD: DVD-RW[/li][li]Card Reader: Yes[/li][li]OS: Windows 11 Home 64[/li][/ul]

    System 2: AMD Ryzen 3-3200G

    [ul]
    [li]CPU: AMD Ryzen 3-3200G, 4C/8T, 3.6GHZ[/li][li]RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ (dual-channel)[/li][li]Graphics Card: Integrated Radeon Vega 8 Graphics[/li][li]Storage: 240GB SSD + 2TB HDD[/li][li]OS: Windows 11 Home 64[/li][/ul]

    Yandere Simulator:

Both systems meet the minimum requirements for Yandere Simulator, but AMD Ryzen 3-3200G is more likely to provide a smoother experience due to its more modern CPU and integrated Radeon Vega 8 Graphics.

HP Z230 Workstation PC System has a more powerful CPU, but its Nvidia Quadro K4000 graphics card may not be optimized for gaming.

    Raft:

AMD Ryzen 3-3200G meets the minimum requirements for Raft, but may struggle with the recommended specs. The integrated Radeon Vega 8 Graphics may not be powerful enough to handle the game at higher settings.

HP Z230 Workstation PC System meets the minimum requirements for Raft, but its Nvidia Quadro K4000 graphics card may not be powerful enough to handle the game at higher settings.

Based on the system requirements for Yandere Simulator and Raft, System 2 (AMD Ryzen 3-3200G) is a better choice for these games.
Its more modern CPU and integrated Radeon Vega 8 Graphics provide a better balance for these games.

For System 2 (AMD Ryzen 3-3200G), consider adding a dedicated graphics card like the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT to improve gaming performance.

For System 1 (HP Z230 Workstation PC System), consider replacing the Nvidia Quadro K4000 with a more gaming-oriented graphics card like the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT.

Might I also suggest the following:

Family Safe DNS the DNS servers here have adult content blocking:
Debloat the Machine prior to giving it to here with this tool.
Block Ads in her web browser so there are less things for a child to click on with Ublock Origin

I will ask that @phillpower2 come in and add any suggestions to this, as I did extensive googling to find out all of this information about the hardware, and he can likely answer any other questions that you may have off the top of his head.

What are the prices of those choices, only the HPZ230 shows a price of £295, and what is your budget?

Converting £295 to AU$ gives me around $580.
A quick look on Dell gives me this laptop for $AUD698 and this desktop for $AUD998.
My point is, with the laptop at least, for a few more bucks, you’re getting a new unit, full warranty, latest tech.
So don’t discount something new as a potential contender.

BTW have you looked at Yandere Simulator - sweet mother!, all about stalking and murder.

The xum titan pc tower is £390.
                  I don’t mind paying around £500/£600.
I’ve tried to use comparison websites for the different specs, to see which is better etc
Thanks for all your help & input, it’s really appreciated.

The link is embedded in the word laptop in my post.
It wasn’t a gaming laptop, just the cheapest laptop Dell shows on their site.
That Yandere game doesn’t look like it needs a dedicated graphics card, just the stock standard one the comes with most PC’s.
Mind you I couldn’t see any minimum specs listed on their website.

Plus, being 10, I don’t think she’ll be getting into those high demanding first player shoot-em up games for a few years

That “Xum” machine seems to fumble on itself- does it have a 4080 or integrated graphics- I say it’s a scam at that pricepoint (Esports gamers don’t use integrated graphics).

Looking into a business class tower and throwing an ad-in GPU would be a much better use of money than buying any of those cheap.

Another option you have is looking at pre-owned/refurbished units- there are a lot of great deals out there even from major retailers.
