Extremely slow startup on new PC

    Hi all,

Hey everyone, I’m facing an issue with a PC I recently helped my friend build. The startup is unbearably slow, taking a whopping 5-10 minutes from boot to being able to open an application. I’m concerned that this could be due to a bad part combination. The hardware installation seems correct. Could this be a BIOS problem?

Since I only helped him build it and saw him use it a few times, I haven’t had time to work with the bios settings. However, from the testing done when it was built, it runs games fine. It did Forza Horizons 5 at 60 fps with high settings. Also it has had barely any use and has not downloaded enough stuff to make the hard drive full.

    Here are the parts:

    1) Let’s show the complete PC specs using Speccy by Piriform - Get Speccy (Is Speccy safe?)
In Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot (hit Yes if prompted) > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
Paste that link into your post.

    2) Speccy doesn’t show the Power Supply Unit so list the make/model of the PSU.

    3) Let’s also show installed programs using MiniToolBox by FarBar - Get MTB
In MTB, tick List Installed Programs, click Go then close the program.
A file MTB.txt is created in the same folder, attach that in a post.
