    SSD Upgrade

    Hey everyone, I hope I can get this question answered as Google has been confusing me even more. I have an AMD Ryzen 3 4300G with Radeon Graphics 3.80 GHz for my work computer and I am wanting to upgrade the stock SSD on it (256gb). The baseboard product is 87D6, if that helps, and I am pretty sure it is an M.2 SSD, but I’m not sure if any M.2 SSD will be compatible

    PLease post your speccy results.
    Download Speccy

    [HEADING=3]To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:[/HEADING]
    [ol]
    [li]In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.[/li][li]In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.[/li][li]Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.[/li][/ol]
    Also, include your PSU (Power Supply Unit) specifications.

      Not sure what you have been putting in the search field :unsure: you have only told us the CPU that you have so I am surprised that Google told you anything.

      Being that this is a computer that is used for work purposes and you do not appear to know what is going on inside your computer I have to ask you to ask yourself, do I know how to prepare the computer for an SSD change, do I know how to swap out the present SSD and what do I need to do once the new SSD is in place.

      That is a HP Erica3 MB that has two M2 slots but only one is for an SSD while the other is for a WLAN device, colleague xrobwx71 may have missed you mentioning that this is a works computer but while we can point you in the right direction for obtaining an appropriate SSD being that this is a work related computer forum rules prevent any further assistance;
      1. PCHF can not and will not offer advice for business use or financial gain. PCHF only offers assistance for personal use.

      Use the Crucial System Scanner tool to see what M.2 socket 3, Key M 2280/2242 are available to you.

      Find the appropriate device, ask yourself those three questions then act accordingly as in take on the task yourself or get a local tech to carry out the upgrade for you.
