yeah I noticed that.
pic 1 has it up, and pic 2 seems to be down but no locking screw. but the angle is not good. and I don’t know what order the shots were taken in relation to what was tested.
while we are trying to troubleshoot the issue, part of that process is to isolate the parts that will allow the PC to boot successfully (or discover the parts that may be stopping that process).
so try setting it up with only one memory stick(pic shows all four inserted), one drive(pic shows NVMe and SSD connected) - that sort of thing - keep it simple!
I disconnected the ssds from the sata ports, and the nvme ssd was lighting up when attempting to power up. I tried with one memory stick and to no avail. I contacted Gigabyte and just sent the motherboard for RMA. Hopefully they can repair and send it back quickly.

RMA could take a while, from the very limited times I’ve had to go down that path.
apart from time taken to get it there and back, the process seems to bog down if they want to test the part, try to repair it, or they are just swamped.
