Any way I could improve this pc for not too much cash?
Can run most games but for some reason get heavy frame drops on some of the most basic games any idea as to why and what upgrades I could get to upgrade it?
There is only one bad thing about your build but unfortunately for you the component concerned is the most important, the PSU is complete junk, want to know just how bad, read the example thread here
Your GPU requires a minimum of a 500W or above Gold efficiency rated PSU from the Corsair RM range, EVGA or Seasonic.
not sure about the Patriot P300 NVMe SSD.
the reason it is so darn cheap is it is DRAM’less, meaning it uses the HMB (host memory buffer) that is part of Win10/11, so not sure about Win7.
some review sites have concerns on that drives performance.
most seem to agree that for the price, it’s a good unit. just wondering, if the budget is moveable, maybe consider others.
