i did have one last question

do you think it was just the video card driver and i just needed the bypass command or do you think it was an issue with me not installing the mobo drivers?

A combination of MB and vid drivers
Do not update vid drivers.

thank you for opening the thread again, so sorry to be back annoying you so quickly,

i think windows may have done a couple updates.

diablo 4 has updated itself several times.

i havent updated anything myself, still using the older vid card driver.

the same thing seems to be happening, i try to open diablo 4 and then it crashes the pc, i tried a steam game and it crashed the pc too.

im afraid to say anything because i dont want to jinx it but the only difference so far is that my pc is not randomly restarting, it hasnt crashed since i tried to open game.

Do you have an old restore point you can try.
I hope you made one after it worked last time.

i think DDU made a restore point.

how would i check to be sure?

Hit the Windows key + R. The RUN dialogue opens. In this space, type rstrui and click Ok.

In the System Restore Window click next. The next windows should have dates and points.

i see a couple in the list from yesterday and one from 6/6 that was an automatic restore point

it seems like 6/6 was 3 days after you guys solved the problem for me.

do you want me to restore to that point?

and they also just released new nvidia drivers today, would it be worth running ddu and then trying these newest drivers from today before restoring if thats what you want me to try?
