1st, tell us what you plan to do with this PC. What kind of gaming? Minecraft, Roblox or heavy duty games like Cyberpunk 2077?

Then, what is your total budget?

      g’day Jason and welcome!

while not to be ignored, the motherboard isn’t the most critical component either.

obviously it needs to support the other components you’ll be attaching to it; processor, memory, graphics card, etc - and it needs to have the ports for all your current and future needs, like SATA ports, USB ports, PCIe slots, fan headers, etc.

since you are gaming, stay away from the cheap end of the range, try and look at mid-range prices and budget permitting, work your way up from there.

personally, I have used Intel, ASUS and Gigabyte mobo’s.
had a few ASUS failures, switched to Gigabyte and didn’t look back.
would roughly estimate I have purchased over 200 Gigabyte boards, with only one of those failing, and that was in the warranty period.
others here swear by ASUS, so it’s all very subjective.
