So im about to build in an old pc case and i cant figure out whats needed to put 3.5 hdds into place. Do i need mounting bracket or a tray or nothing? Excuse the super dusty picture ???.
you have three slots for a drive each.
the right top two have a little ‘shelf’ the drive would sit on, and three holes were you would screw the drive onto the bracket.
the middle left also has a shelf, but I can’t see one for the top or bottom slots.
it doesn’t really matter, it’s not like the case is going to be mobile, just screw the drives onto the right side.

the bottom hdd was the weird one, had to screw in 2 scres in the left first then slide it in having the screws as support and then screw in the screws on both sides and now its sitting very robust and still. The second hdd had it alot easier it had support on both sides already so i just screwed in the screws to tighten it. Thanks for the help, heres how it looks:
