Ram runs at 2133 MHz and not 2666...

Hello, I just bought 4 x 8 gb 3200 MHz Corsair DDR4 DRAM to replace my 2 x 8 gb 2666 MHz UDIMM.
I have an I-9700 CPU and that’s why I expected my new ram to run at 2666 MHz. But it runs at 2133… I understood that I could change the speed in BIOS, but I can’t click on most of the things there. Something I can change but amongst other things I can not click on or change my memory.
the BIOS is called American Megatrends Inc. R01-B2
I have a predator PO3-600
Does anyone know what I can do to increase my RAM speed?

the motherboard is the deciding factor in how memory pans out.
check the mobo’s memory compatibility list for those memory chips.

I thought 3200Mhz was only achievable with the XMP over-clocking profile setup in BIOS. (but I admit, never OC’d before)

the things you can’t click on now in BIOS, could you when you were using the old RAM?

Hello Rustys, i think i start to see the problem, i found the manual and it says i have to use Acer approved DIMM ram, i got corsair DRAM ram. And the BIOS looks pretty much like the picture, I cant do anything with the grey things. thank you for your help. Do you think that is what the problem is or something else? and i didnt find anything about XMP.

If you put back in the original RAM does the system run correctly and show in the BIOS?

With out knowing the make and model of the motherboard we can not say it that is the correct RAM or not.

I did put in the old ram, and the BIOS was the same, I am not sure exactly what the model of the motherboard is, but i found this:

It is and being an OEM system the BIOS is locked and XMP not an option, not unusual to find, Dell, HP and others do the exact same thing and it sucks, they advertise their crap as gaming PCs which sells the end user well short
