    Pc performance slows down

    1. idont know if its windows or hardware or other software
    2. game performance and overall system speed drops from 200fps to 1-5fps, sound becomes laggy, stuttering. I have managed to check the temperatures and and occupation in task manager but there isnt anything out of the ordinary.
    3. When i restart the problem is fixed until it happens again couple of days/weeks later.
    4. im surprised that when i opened OBS to record the problem, it was fixed (greatly reduced) and performance was back up

If you have any questions pls ask, but i just wanna know whats wrong

    Hello

It may be your internet provider may be throttling your speed..

I doubt, all processes slow down, even the non-internet ones. The system responsivnes is also much slower and ingame performance from stable 190 to low 5 fps.

manually check for Windows Updates and install any if they are listed.
when Win10 first came out, I noticed the PC in question (and all PC’s on the network) would slow down until the update was finished. can’t say I’m still noticing that issue but who knows.

when everything goes to hell, have you fired up Task Manager and gone to the Details tab and sorted the CPU column in Descending order and seen what is the worst offender?

also go into Task Scheduler and disable all scheduled tasks.

and click Windows + R to bring up the Run box, type in msconfig and hit Enter.
click the Services tab, tick Hide all Microsoft services and go through and untick any crap you don’t need.

I am sure i dont have any updates pending, for any drivers or windows because I updated them all

the task manager didnt show much of a difference in usage, the only peak in cpu and memory was the game but thats always when that is opened, but the glitch happens monthly

will try to do the scheduler thing and the services

            Hi,

Try performing a clean boot in Windows and let me know if the same issue occurs. What build of Windows 10 do you have installed?

How do you come to have this installed on a personal computer.

Windows 10 Education edition is only licenced to places of learning such as schools and universities etc, they are the ones that the software is licenced to and likewise their on site Admin should be the first port of call when a student is having issues.
