    Help, are these specs okay.

    Hi there

I am looking at buying/building my own pc my requirements are as follows

Has atleast 6 USB slots or 7 if no built in disk drive
    Support dual monitors
Be able to run the likes of farming simulator and ets 2 at medium graphics and gta v at atleast min smoothly.

    I am considering this https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming...09356-pdt.html
Could people leave their suggestions? First thing id do is upgrade it to 16gb of ram.

    Thanks

I’d also get a 512GB SSD as the primary drive and use that 1TB as secondary storage, or even a 2TB HDD.

hard to say - one of the important components is not specified - the power supply!
and as to how you intend to use it in 6 months or when the next game comes out would be highly subjective on my part. that’s potentially how fast a computer can become out of date.

all I can say is right now, for the intended use you specified, it should be OK.
but as I say, statements like ‘running smoothly’ and ‘medium graphics’ are open to interpretation.
what I class as running smoothly may not be the same for you.

What would you recommend if I was to self build?

Is there something like this for every component?

yes here are a few sites

Use our Wattage Calculator to determine the ideal PSU for your system. Enter your components to receive accurate wattage recommendations.

or in short, any power supply that is at least certified 80plus Gold and around the 750-850watt range and comes with at least a 5 year warranty will be a good one.
so you know, the bronze and silver ones are below gold and the platinum and titanium are higher than gold.
