Ok, I’m fairly savvy with computers but I always shied away from messing with data due to my inexperience with it. But, I figured I’d look up home to move my OS and files from my outdated HDD to my SSD. I used a cloning software (Macrium Reflect Free) and attempted to clone my 2TB HDD to my 1TB SSD. I was told it was too big so I figured, well, I only need the C: drive right? And cloned that, and only that (not the other 5 partitions). Clone was successful so I deleted my C: drives data off my HDD. Rebooted and now all of my icons are paper icons and nothing will launch because the directory is still C: for them. So now I’m in a pickle and don’t know what to do. I’m in the process of just opening the S: drive (my SSD) and simply dragging the files back to the C: drive in order to hopefully undo my screw up. If anyone has any suggestions please help a brother out! TIA

Yes all 5 partitions are required some of them have the boot information stored.
Would suggest that you do a clean install after backing up if you can any documents and personal files that you want to keep. -
when setting up a SSD, it’s nice to install a fresh Win10 and let both Windows and the SSD handle the organising themselves.
in BIOS, setting your drive type to AHCI for the SSD unit helps too.
then, after the install, you can drag your personal files from the HDD.
