    PC performs worse after upgrade

    Hello,
I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU, my setup is now:

    I5-10600k
    Asus b460m pro4
    Radeon RX590
    16gb 2666mhz DDR3
    630W PSU (pretty old)
I mainly play World of Warcraft and my ingame performance is pretty good, i steady 100+ fps during heavy loads.
What has gotten worse is i.e. watching youtube videos on my 2nd monitor while gaming, previously that wasn’t an issue. Now the videos are lagging.
Also streaming/recording performance has gotten down.
I tried resolving by updating all drivers etc. with no luck

Any idea what could be causing the issue?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello
    1. upgrade your psu to a gold standard..

Use this site,to check for bottlenecks.

Find and fix CPU or GPU bottlenecks in your PC. Check if your PC will bottleneck, optimize performance and game frame rate.

What do you gain from having a gold standard? Can see my current one is bronze.

Is 8% bottlenecking considered a lot?

You must mean DDR4 I think. Have you done a speedtest on your internet provider yet?
What brand is your PSU and how old? They do lose capacity as they grow older.

With a gold standard psu, you get a better performing psu for gaming.. A old bronze/class psu will not cut it..

I am going to tag @phillpower2 .. he is our resident psu expert..

            Correct, DDR4.
Internet status is all good, never been an issue.
My psu is a 630W thermaltake Berlin model. (Probably 5-6 years old)

You need a new PSU, Thermaltake do not make good PSUs and that model was released over nine years ago in two versions, neither of which were Bronze efficiency rated, one was 80+ and the other not even rated, both only had a three year warranty and neither should be used anywhere near an add on GPU, a review here from almost ten years back.
