I was having problems cloning my new SSD on my new Dell Inspiron 3671 and posted this thread…https://pchelpforum.net/posts/98651/.
PCHF helped me solve this problem. Both the old HDD and the new SSD are 1T, Western Digital . In the end they/PhilPower2 suggested that I clone the new SSD, remove the HDD and simply mount the new SSD and use the same cables that the HDD used. I did that…it worked like a charm except…
Now when I boot up with the new SSD I get a BIOS message (I think it’s BIOS)…something about ‘In order to skip disk checking hit any key…’.
I never had this message before. How can I get the pc to skip this message and just boot up?
Thank you for any assistance and have a good day,
