My AsRock B450M Pro4 AM4 motherboard does not have wifi or bluetooth onboard. I don’t need the wifi, but I do need the bluetooth to connect some peripherals. I bought a generic 5.0 bluetooth dongle, but I have been having problems connecting my Skull Candy and Airpods headphones using Wndows 10 Home Edition. After the initial pairing and connection, if I for example, turn off the headphones after a music listening session, I cannot reconnect the headphones unless I remove the headphones from the list of paired devices and pair them again. If my headphones fall out of range as I walk away from my PC, I cannot reconnect unless I remove the headphones from the list of paired devices and must pair them again. After I turn off the headphones, Windows 10 bluetooth settings will confirm the headphones are paired and will allow a connection, but there will be no sound coming from those headphones, even though the Windows 10 sound settings window confirms the headphones are connected. Any time the headphones are disconnected, I cannot reconnect then unless I remove them from the list of bluetooth devices and pair them again.
