Today I took all my parts out of my pc to put in a old case but it didn’t fit so put them back in but when I put them back in, but when I did and i tried to turn it on I got a lot of errors.
At first the DRAM light was on but now it will only occasionally turn on, I found that it turns on when my HHD is in and boots of that but it won’t boot of my ssd even when I go into Bios and tell it too.
I reset bios but it didn’t help.

I have got it to run but no matter what I do in bios it will only boot from my HHD and won’t let me see my account, it has made a new account with none of my stuff on it and has booted from HHD. I can see my ssd under my PC but I can boot if it.

Along with this I just got a new ssd that was working this morning before I pulled it all to bits.

Hello Spoke,

You don`t mention anything about your specs so we will have to take a chance that you are running Windows 10.

Open Disk Manager to full screen, grab a screenshot and upload it for us, the steps are below;

Access Disk Management via Run.

Press the Windows+R keys to open Run, type diskmgmt.msc in the empty box then press OK.

To capture and post a screenshot;

Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start…all programs…accessories…paint…left click in the white area …press CTRL + V…click on file…click on save…save it to your desktop…name it something related to the screen your capturing… BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG …otherwise it may be to big to upload… after typing in any response you have… click on Upload a File to add the screenshot.

Screenshot instructions are provided to assist those that may read this topic but are not yet aware of the “how to”.

Thanks for responding so quick phillpower, another thing that’s not normal is when I turn on the computer it turns on for a sec then turns off then turns back on.
It won’t let me add a screenshot due to the file being too big but everything looks ok on there they are all showing up with their content

Another thing, in bios all my disks have “UEFI” ontop of them in boot priority

Sounds like there may be a system short so you need to sort that out first, remove the board from the case, assemble on a large piece of cardboard, power up and see what happens.

Regarding the requested screenshot, sorry but if you either cannot or do not provide the requested information we will not be able to help you.

I am very sorry phillpower I can’t get a screenshot right now as it’s 11.11pm in NZ and it didn’t work the first time.
Everything looked normal and was healthy

I have 3 disks installed one 1T HHD one 120gb SSD and my new 500gb SSD it was working this morning before i took out all the parts and reset bios.

We understand that you may not be able to get a screenshot at this time and because the computer is not in a stable condition atm, you need to get that sorted first, you may well find that if you do the other issue may well correct itself.

If using a computer and not a mobile phone, please avoid adding multiple posts while waiting for us to reply to your last, edit your last post to include anything that you wish to add, this will ensure nothing gets overlooked which can sometimes happen if a thread has more than one page, it also avoids filling up folks inbox.

No problem.

To test the board outside of the case see the below;

Remove the MB and do a barebones set-up on a piece of cardboard (make sure it is larger than the MB) only connect the PSU, the GFX card, screen, 1 stick of RAM and the keyboard.

IF your MB doesn`t have a power test switch you will then need to short out the 2 power on pins on the MB header to get the PSU to activate, you can use a small flat bladed screwdriver or a paper clip bent into a U shape, this is perfectly safe if you do not touch anything else, the idea is to see if we can get a BIOS screen if you do you can then add one component at a time until you find the problem component,[COLOR=rgb(226, 80, 65)] you must power down and remove the power cord from the wall before adding another component.[/COLOR]

I know you said not to double reply but I can’t find where to edit my last one, I tried removing the HHD and booting but it wouldn’t load windows so I think the windows on my two SSDs isn’t working or bios doesn’t recognise it

For Windows to be able to run efficiently and to be able to update you need to have between 20 and 25% of the partition or drive available as free storage space at all times, if you don`t you risk Windows becoming corrupt or not being able to update which puts you at risk of malware attack.

Data only storage devices should not be allowed to get any lower than 10% of free storage space of the full capacity of the drive/partition on the drive, this also to avoid data corruption.
