Hello and thanks in advanced for any support I receive. I built a PC last year and it’s been great! However I recently (carefully) moved, literally ten minutes away and when I reassembled the external wires it won’t start up. The led lights on my motherboard light up but no fans or anything! I have reseated the RAM and replaced the CMOS Battery and still no luck. Any other clue? Thanks!
Help! PC won’t start after moving.

When you look at the front panel header, is everything connected?
I’ll be home soon, and I’m planning on disassembling the motherboard and reassembling it back for a second time. The front panel header is that really small piece right? Sorta fragile feelin?Comment

if its got an add-on graphics card, remove, clean card terminals and mobo slot and reseat.
when you reseated the RAM, did you wipe the contacts and brush the slots?
if more than one memory chip, reseat one at a time and boot and see if that helps.
whats the dust build up like inside the chassis?Comment
