No display on new PC build

Have built a new PC, everything seems to be connected properly, but when I turn it on monitors just get the old “no signal” message.

Not getting any beeps from the mobo, but it may just not have a beep sensor.

RAM is plugged into the right slot as per the manual and has clicked into place.

Taken out the GPU for the moment and using the mobo’s DVI connector.

    Any ideas?

What is the make and model of the display card?

Make and model of the power supply

Is there a speaker attached to the motherboard some do not come with one?

To add to what Russ has asked, what are the brand and model name or number of the CPU and MB.

Most modern MBs that have video ports rely on on die video support from the CPU and not all CPUs have this., many Intel CPUs have this but not so many from AMD, hence the reason why they are so often a lot less expensive than Intel.
