I want to build a gaming pc but I will also use it for other things like homework or watching movies. And so does my sister. Is it possible to let 2 people use the pc at the same time. To have 2 monitors, 2 keyboards etc. So that we can just do our own thing.
It is possible but we need your complete future pc spec’s.
My budget is €1000 euros
I was planning to get these parts. But my next question would be if it is powerfull enough…
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2060 5 GB GAMING Z Video Card
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 S 600W
RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4-3200MHz
Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming PRO Carbon AC ATX AM4
Storage: ADATA Ultimate SU800 256GB 2.5" SSD
Seagate Barracudda Compute 1TB 3.5" HDD
2 people at the same time?
No. That’s not possible.
2 keyboard, 2 mouse - how does the PC know what input comes from what person and to process that request and send it back to the right monitor.
What you want is two PCs or a server with two client PCs.
2 people at different times?
Yes that’s doable with two different login accounts.
A multi-user software allows multiple users to share a single PC. Each user can run any application, movie or game simultaneously. There are pro and cons
