    SATA Connector

I have the Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 10B00006US Desktop PC.
I want to add a fourth drive to the PC.
At the moment, the PC has a DVD drive, an SSD drive for the C: Drive, and a spinning HD for Movies.
I want to add another SSD drive for photograph storage. I take many RAW photos and need dedicated space for them.
The Lenovo PC motherboard doesn’t have a SATA connector for the fourth drive. The space is on the motherboard for the SATA connector, but it is empty. The solder pads are there, and the silk-screen says SATA4.
Where can I order a SATA connector for the motherboard? I have searched Ebay and DigiKey, have yet to locate the connector.
    Thanks!

Why not look into getting an external Drive and only keep it connected when it is in use. This way if you get malware and or Ransomware they are safe.

If they are internal drives then they can be infected as well and that data may be lost and then you will not have it any more.

What is the make and model of the motherboard? Or post a picture if so we can see this.

What I am getting form this there is not and nothing that would help best to use an external HDD. The picture would give us a better idea.

Yes, he’s got the same advice as well, which should have him covered for a solution. Thread closed.
