Which hardware parts do I need for a pc build of my use?

Hi guys, so I am planning to buy (may build also) a windows PC with a budget of 750$. My intent of use is CAD, Microcontroller programming, PCB designing, Matlab (a coding language for an Artificial intelligence project website-https://in.mathworks.com/products/matlab.html) and use computer vision with it (Matlab’s own version and OpenCV), some simulation software for robots/electronic circuits and also a Flight simulator X game. Can you tell me a desktop pc or parts I need within my budget to make a desktop pc?

I live in India and converted my budget in rupees to dollars. Are parts in US cheaper than in India? Forgetting the shipping and stuff, as I might ask my friend to get me some parts, but 1000$ is a bit too much. How can I buy components I mean, on what basis should I choose them, like I need a particular power supply (ex-650W) how can I pick my own components, what are the criteria’s involved when looking up for parts in the internet?

Thanks but I am quite worried about using an AMD processor, I had a windows system with an AMD processor, and it was terrible, the worst computer I ever had. Is AMD really bad for my use?

AMD make some outstanding CPUs and for less cash than what you would pay for an Intel equivalent, who said that you had to use an AMD CPU?

Can I ask that you do not quote every reply, it really does not help and just makes for unnecessary reading, thanks.

your basic problem first up is you want a budget PC at low cost (don’t we all) but the tasks and programs you mention that the PC will be used for will require more than ‘budget PC specs’ to run well.

as vger says, I’d be looking at 16GBs memory for the stuff you want to run. and personally, an Intel Core i5 or i7, and at least a 250GB SSD or NVMe drive. anything less will work but your tasks will suffer accordingly.

they’d be the 3 core components, anything else can either be upgraded later or is eye-candy (that is, not important) like case, burner.
of course, you don’t won’t to skimp on a good power supply, motherboard and graphics card either.
so you see, the price starts to add up.

if I was building the sort of PC you mentioned, I’d be budgeting about $AUD1200 as bare minimum.
