if you have no extra video card, plug the monitor cable into the corresponding motherboard port.
if you have added a 3rd party graphic card make sure to plug the monitor cable into that.
also, if using an add-on card, make sure you have plugged in any necessary extra power cables it may need. -

Hi thotback, Thanks a lot for posting in pchelpforum.
This happens primarily when your monitor is not properly connected to your CPU. Check with the connecting cables. there might be different options for connecting your monitor to CPU. If it’s VGA - VGA connection try reconnecting your VGA cable or using a new VGA cableComment

Thank you for your input imran333 but can I ask that you read and take onboard the following before posting in other members threads.
Before posting in another members thread there are at least five important points to consider;
1: You should never post in another members thread looking for help for yourself.
2: Have you read and understood the opening post and thread of the member to which you intend to reply?
3: Has what you intend to suggest already been put forward by another member?
4: Is the guidance that you intend to suggest based on personal knowledge and experience to which you have had success?
5: Posting links to any other tech site or service is only acceptable if beneficial to the member that is being helped and only if the same guidance is not already readily available at PCHF.
Thank you for your understanding
