Hello, I built my PC a few years ago I have an i5 6600k with a z170a PC mate mobo, 16 gigs of ddr4 2400 from g skill, GTX 1080, 250 gig sata ssd and 2 expansion hdd. I was thinking of building a PC for my family and swapping my ram and graphics card for a new build, possibly an i5 9600k or i7 version. Will I still be able to use my ram in that build? And if I bought 16 gigs of the same brand g skill, but 3200 could I use it in my current PC until I upgrade? The ram would just downclock to 2400 right? Would I have any system issues?
