Hi @Stefan and welcome to PCHF

So you’re saying the tower won’t power on at all? Do you see any lights on the motherboard?

        Hi Stefan!
Dose the UPS still work (is it charging or so)?

If the monitor is plugged into the UPS and getting power what happens if you plug in the tower there does anything change?
What happens if you bypass the UPS and plug the power for the tower directly into a wall socket does that make a difference?

The monitor is plugged into the ups as well but only shows a white blinking light…I plugged the towers power directly to a the wall socket still no difference

Is there an on/off switch on the power supply that may have been accidentally put in the off position.

                How old is the system?

Sounds like either the motherboard or the PSU is dead. There’s one way to rule it out.

                    [ul]
[li]Power off the PSU.[/li][li]Unplug the ATX connector from the motherboard.[/li][li]Take a paperclip and take one end and put in the green colored wire.[/li][li]Take the other end and put it in any black colored wire.[/li][li]Turn on the PSU.[/li][/ul]
The PSU should power itself on (fan spins). If it does, your motherboard is dead. If it doesn’t, your PSU is dead. Reference the below picture on how to jump the wires.
