Cheapest way to upgrade 32 bits computer to 64 bits (Hardware)

Hello.

I got a video creation project that requires me having a 64 bits computer. (Not heavy at all)

But my desktop computer is not upgradable to 64 bits

I was wondering what would be the best possible approach for me to upgrade from 32 bits to 64 bits when it comes to hardware on a budget?

Here are my system infos

Motherboard Model: ASUS P8H77-M
Motherboard Chipset: Intel H77
Processor Intel i5-3330 3.00Ghz
RAM Memory 4.00GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 5450 (2GB Dedicated Memory)

Not many new computers ship with a 32-bit version of Windows these days, post a Speccy link for us as detailed below so that we can see what you are running, can you also tell us what video software it is that you would like to be able to run;

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

some good news, switching from 32bit to 64bit is free.
all you’re up for is time.

but sadly switching will require a clean install of Windows and reloading of all your programs.
also make sure you have the latest 64bit drivers downloaded for your hardware (motherboard, vid card, sound, printer etc)
so backup your personal files first and dig out all your installation discs and activation codes for your 3rd party software.
during the WIndows reload, when asked to enter the Product Key, you can click Skip this step.
after Windows is reloaded, it’ll auto activate.

and you’ll finally be able to use all of your 4GB of memory instead of only the limit of 3GB with 32bit architecture.

Only thing that I can add really is that you could do with upgrading your RAM [COLOR=rgb(209, 72, 65)]** from 4 to 8GB as that is the minimum required for After Effects CC, see info here

[COLOR=rgb(209, 72, 65)]** Purchasing two new 1600MHz sticks would be better as the present RAM is the slower 667MHz and will only run at 1333MHz in dual channel mode should you add another stick of the same spec of RAM.

If your budget will allow it when the prices come down you should upgrade the video card to something along the lines of a GTX 1060, please note that you may also need to upgrade the PSU so if you do decide on upgrading the video card let us know and we will take a look for you.[/COLOR][/COLOR]
