All she really does is email and surf the internet for fun, but I want it to be relatively quick and non-problematic for her. I feel like the motherboard might be a lil overkill but I dunno. Let me know what you guys think.
The case will accept a standard ATX supply so swap the Silverstone (which is out of stock and cost $6.99 for shipping) for the 500W EVGA here less expensive after the rebate and with sufficient wiggle room for an add on video card should Grandama take up gaming.
Upgrade the RAM to the Crucial here 8GB of RAM is the sweet spot for a 64-bit OS + the 1600MHz will make things a bit quicker, the rebate off the PSU should more or less cover the additional cost.

In other news, my grandma might be playing some graphics-hungry matches of Solitare, so I better have that PSU ready for a GPU !
Not bad but still recommend having 8GB of RAM and the monitor is on the small size, a better/larger Acer screen here + has both DVI and VGA ports whereas the Dell only has VGA.

She’s a lot simpler of a computer user than me, and I’ve lived off of a computer running Windows 10 x64 with a single 4gb stick of 1600MHz for a year and a half. I think she’ll be fine with that RAM. And the monitor is still up in the air, I don’t know what her current monitor size is or if she even needs an upgrade but I’ll keep that Acer in mind.
RE: The change of screen, you definitely should not purchase the Dell due to it only having the VGA port, always best to have another option or two such as DVI and/or HDMI just in case of port failure.
JAFYI: Intel has dropped support for VGA since the release of Skylake and MB manufacturers are also beginning to phase out VGA ports.
