Most opinions on monitor brands are going to be subjective and anecdotal. What I usually do is research all the reviews on verified purchases.
That way, you obtain a high number of real-world experiences instead of having one person give their opinion.
In any quality test, the higher the number of results, the closer you get to objective facts.
For instance, I am 1 out of millions. Verified buyer reviews can be thousands out of millions.

I used AR to simulate how would it look like on my desk. I was way too big, the screen itself was very close to my face, and the whole base was a bit too big. I don’t want to buy a monitor holder. Shall i just leave it?

I first look at screen size and available ports.
Then look at warranty.
Then decide if I can afford it!
In my experience, Samsung is an excellant brand.
Pulled apart a LG screen many years ago, it had a Samsung panel inside.
So despite the outside badge, who knows what make of panel is on the inside.
Plus, let’s be honest, how many are not made in China!
