The guide at the link that was provided, forget about any disk, disconnect the printer from the computer, uninstall the HP software that you installed, restart the computer, download and install the HP drivers and as per picture #10 at the above link do not attach the USB cable to the printer until you get a message on screen telling you to. -

I followed everything that installer told me. But after I attached the usb it showed that the printer is not plugged in.
The above is an email that I received from your thread but it seems to have gone missing
Does the printer power up when you press the power on button, if yes, try another printer to USB port cable and inspect the port on the printer for any signs of damage.
You have to open the driver package and install them and your English is 125% better than my Polish and I have zero idea what any of that picture above is telling you.Originally posted by AbricotI installed the driver, but there was no window saying to attach the usb. It just downloaded and then this window apperared:Comment

This is a window that says to search and fix the problems. This is what was installed when I dowloaded the driver.
The printer turns on and there are sounds getting out of it like it would be working but anything I do gives me error/not plugged in printer. Do you think it can be the cable’s fault?Comment

The computer powering up and you having the drivers installed suggests a cable or as already mentioned the port on the back of the printer itself.Originally posted by AbricotDo you think it can be the cable’s fault?
The above only if you have 100% correctly installed the required HP printer drivers and only connected the printers USB cable when prompted to do so.Comment

Thank you. I feel like I have no option ot check the cable the other way than by taking it to the service. Would they be able to ceck the cable without taking a printer there. The printer is so big in się and I have no idea how could I takie it to the service. But I can take a cable alone.Comment

So did you try uninstalling and then correctly installing the HP drivers, if yes, what happened.
The cable may be fine and as previously mentioned a couple of times it could be the printer port that the cable attaches to, this means that you will be none the wiser unless you take both the printer and the cable, if they try a new cable and the printer works you know it is the cable but if the cable does not work and you purchase a new one you could get home and find that the printer still does not work, borrowing a printer cable if you can is your best bet.
Fwiw, people have different circumstances and we understand that not everyone can go out and purchase new hardware but the printer concerned is so basic nowadays that they don’t get fixed they get tossed in the trash as they are cheaper to replace than to repair.Comment
