Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit win.11

    Hi guys

I just scooped up and old Saitek Command Unit, knowing full well that it isn’t natively supported by win.11
I heard somewhere that it was doable though.

I got so far as installing the driver software and getting the thumbstick and buttons 15 to 21 working. Buttons 1-14 doesn’t register though. which I find a bit odd. They dont light up in joyconfig either. There is probably some programming software that was originally included with it, that had something to do with it.

Can anyone here offer any help?

The original programming software that came with your Saitek Command Unit might be necessary for full functionality:

[li]Search for SST Software: The Saitek Smart Technology (SST) programming software might be required. Look for it on Logitech’s website or other trusted sources.[/li][li]Install SST Software: Follow installation instructions carefully.[/li][/ol]

      Thanks Malnutrition

I tried all of the above, but even when running in comp. mode the driver installers step where you can test out buttons still only registers some of them.
Im more or less inclined to think the unit may be defective. I tried taking it apart, but can’t see any obvious damage to wires or connectors.

If some keys works, and others don’t, that would suggest hardware failure.
But to eliminate potential Win11 compatibility issues, have you got a Win10, or even Win7 PC you could connect it to, that would prove the point.

I’ll try and see if someone I know still runs older versions of Windows.
