Testing one monitor at a time using the HDMI port is a must.

Doing any testing with both monitors connected is a 100% complete waste of time as the two totally different spec monitors will definitely cause issues, the 60Hz monitor is way too slow to be paired with the 240Hz screen.

OK, got it. Disconnected my secondary monitor and now using my main monitor with HDMI.

Have both screens HDMI ports been tested and both have the same flicker.

Yes. But the second monitor is rarer, just like before.

Would I be correct in that the second monitor is the much lower spec and therefore the less demanding 60Hz HP 22w.

The fact that it happens with both monitors suggests that it is not screen but hardware related, the latter of which could even include a settings issue.

The weird thing is the PC performs as normal, either with demanding applications like Premiere, After Effects or simply gaming. Just the annoying flickers. Though I’m not savvy enough for this, I read that this could be electrical interference of some kind?

Did not understand that was a question. Indeed, it is is the less demanding one.

Does the issue happen regardless of what the PC is being used for or is it only when under load such as gaming or watching videos etc.

Download then run Speccy ( free ) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Yes, It does happen regardless of utilisation, can be idle, gaming, working, rendering, doesn’t matter.

Couple of glaringly bad things going on in Speccy but before elaborating I have to ask why Windows is shown to only have had the one update since it was first installed.[/COLOR]

That shouldn’t be the case, I’ve update regularly.

Strange because as you can see yourself Speccy is only showing the one Windows update having been installed and one that has failed to install on two separate occasions.

Isn’t this standard with SSDs these days?
