Connecting ZenScreen to Laptop without DisplayPort Alt - possible?

    Howdy!

I’m completely new to such things, so I’m looking for advice on connecting a monitor to my laptop.

Well, I own a modest ASUS X515JA-BQ3024W, which I use for some Excel, Netflix and web browsing, nothing special, but recently I have some opportunities to work remotely and I would like to connect a second monitor to it.

Currently, I have an ASUS ZenScreen MB166C at home, which is lying around and vegetating, but the main problem is that this model has USB C with DisplayPort Alt (only), which my laptop will not support due to the lack of support for USB C displayport alt mode.

    And now my question:
    • Is it possible for me to do this somehow with adapters (if possible, please send me a link with a recommendation) or is the only option left to get a new monitor specifically for this laptop?

Thank you in advance for any help and advice

Simplest would be to get a HDMI monitor as the ASUS laptop has a HDMI port.

The ZenBook is a tablet, so won’t be designed to receive a video signal, only to send one (to a USB-C compatible device).
Same as your laptop, you couldn’t use it has a second monitor for a PC desktop for example.
