Headphones/Speakers wont work

I am getting no audio from my computer, regardless of what headphone or speaker i put in, it really is an issue as absolutety nothing is there. the problem showed up after i span the mic splitter end of the cable to work, and discord started detecting mic audio but all of my other audio stopped, and i havent been able to get it to work, even after trying both audio ports on the front and back, and only using the actual cable and not a splitter for audio and microphone. any help is appreciated

.mp4s seem to dispense sound, but not youtube or any game i think.

Try chrome and the built in edge.
Do you have a cd player?
If yes can you play music
If edge or chrome work.
Sync your firefox settings How do I choose what information to sync on Firefox? | Mozilla Support
uninstall firefox and reinstall

Have you checked to make sure that the sound for the browser, sound settings and or youtube is not muted and or any of the combination?
