So this is a problem that has recently started occurring. Randomly my main monitor has started to randomly flash a white at random intervals for random amounts of time, these intervals can be 5 secs apart or 5 hours apart. The flashes usually are for a split second but other times they will be for up to 2-3 secs. I’ve started my PC in safe mode to confirm that it was not a hardware issue, I’ve even used multiple cables with the same result.
If anyone has any ideas on how to resolve this issue that would be great, I’m hoping not to reset the machine again.
Hi, my first thought is if this is an external monitor, make sure the cable’s are fully connected. Try different cable’s and see if it continues. Or try the monitor on another computer.
If the issue still persists when connected to another computer or laptop, then the issue is the monitor and not the computer.
