Monitors go black intermittently on certain webpages

So both of my monitors with go black intermittently on news websites where there are video ads playing in small windows on screen. Both of them will go out regardless of what screen it is on.

I have been having this problem for a while and I just did a complete reinstall of Windows 10. It does this in multiple browsers, both Chrome and Edge. I do not experience this problem at all while gaming (though oddly one game takes an unusually long time to load).

I have 2 AOC 27" Monitors. One is 3 years old, the other is 3 months old, they are different models.
    AOC CQ27G1 (old)
    AOC CQ27G2 (new)

    PC specs
    Windows 10 pro
    CPU- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
    GPU- AMD RX 5700

GPU and general monitor drivers are up to date

Let me know if any additional information is needed

For further clarification. This issue does not come up while watching online videos.

          Are both monitors plugged in?

Did the issue start after you did/changed something?

Unplug one monitor and see if that makes a difference.

Yes, both monitors are plugged in. I didn’t notice anything when it started and like I said, it was doing this before I did a fresh windows install.

However, oddly enough. Unplugging one and then plugging it back in seems to have resolved the issue? I will let you know if that changes…but it looks like it is working fine now!

            Thank you for your help!

Nope, never mind, it resumed the issue

I was on pc bottleneck caclulator and it had a video ad in the corner and my screens both blacked out again.

Try running with only one monitor for a while.

                Let’s get some more information:

                Download and run speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.
[HEADING=3]To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:[/HEADING]
                [ol]
[li]In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.[/li][li]In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.[/li][li]Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.[/li][/ol]

Please list your power supply unit

Currently running one monitor and the issue seemingly has disappeared for the moment

If it stays away, try the other monitor on its own as well, this could be pointing to a bad monitor or a conflict when using both.

                        How old is the PSU, released in 2016, not very good and should never be used anywhere near an add on GPU, the below is what Corsair recommend here for the type of use that the PSU is appropriate for;
CX Series™ Modular power supply units are an excellent choice for basic system builds and desktop PC computer upgrades, offering high reliability, low noise, and the flexibility of modular cabling. BUILD IT BETTER

Your PC is more high end than basic and a weak PSU will struggle to support your GPU with the extra screen hooked up, the additional couple of storage devices that you have will not help either.

You need a Gold efficiency rated PSU from one of the following, Corsair RM range, EVGA or Seasonic, 650W being the minimum output.
