    Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse Compatibility

Just bought a new Mini PC to play around with.
It only has 2 USB inputs
Bluetooth 5.0 is built in native to the Mini PC
I wanted to use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse so I wouldn’t fill up my USB ports.

Nobody seems to make a bluetooth backlit keyboard with an ERGONOMIC mouse except Logitech and they want $225.00 (It’s not happening)
If I purchase a different brand of mouse and keyboard that is bluetooth compatible, Do you think they will work with this mini pc?
    Anyone ever try this?

I have a Logitech G613 keyboard that has a switch to toggle between bluetooth and wireless connectivity.
same for the mouse, another Logitech that can be switched between either connection method.

I used to have them both set to bluetooth but found an issue where they would go to sleep and that a second or two to wake up. nothing too bad but you’d move the mouse or tap the keyboard and have to wait a bit - got a bit frustrating after a while. now one is BT and the other wifi, all is good.

maybe it is a BT thing, or a Logitech thing, didn’t go into it with the work around being so easy.

you may not need both on BT, but if you get a combo keyboard and mouse unit they can share the same USB dongle, so at least you will only have to use one USB port.
