Problem transferring files from Camera Roll file to backup Hard Drive

Hi, I hope someone can help with my problem.
I am Running out of Available space on my Laptop and I want to backup some photo’s from my laptop to an external Hard drive to free up space to be able to keep working on it. The issue is, windows is telling me the External HDD is full. When i check the properties it says I’ve only used 74.1 GB and have 372GB remaing. When i try to copy and paste from Camera roll file in Pictures file i get this error code.

I have already copy and pasted every other folder under the file heading of Pictures except for the Camera Roll folder which won’t allow me to copy it.
I have been able to copy a certain amount of the photos from within the folder separately but have come the point where windows requires more space to continue.
the folder properties say that there is 96GB of photo’s in it which is less than the amount of space left on the external Hdd.
Why will the folder not copy.
I think it is connected to the cloud somehow and believe this folder to be the main reason my laptop is full.

Please help as it’s driving me mad.

let’s get a snapshot of the system with the external drive connected.

get Speccy from here; Speccy - Download Builds

in Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
now you can paste (Ctrl+V) that link into a post.

What format is the external drive - NTFS, FAT, ExFAT etc?
Are you moving all the files at once or several at a time?

there has been a recent forum crash and some posts have disappeared.
@colbags2000, do you still need help?
