No HDMI signal from Display Port Monitor

Hi so my main monitor keeps getting the NO HDMI SIGNAL message and idk why. I just built my pc and all the parts were used but everything seems to be working fine except the second monitor. When I tried uninstalling the graphics drivers the second monitor did turn on but it wasn’t extending, it was just mirroring my main monitor. As soon as I installed the drivers it turned black and got the no signal message. When I restart my pc the monitor turns on and I get the windows logo and MOBO logo but as soon as it hits the passcode/pin screen it turns black. I have a RX580 and my monitor is connected via a DisplayPort to HDMI cable while my secondary is a straight HDMI cable that works fine.

There are a few things flagged up in Speccy but the most pressing thing atm is the power supply which is junk, it should not be used anywhere an add on GPU and is so bad that it only makes Tier D • Recommended only for very cheap, iGPU systems.

Do you have any recommendations for a PSU then? I have my old PSU still not sure what the exact model is but it’s a 600W Bronze rated PSU by Corsair. I have around $80 budget

I wouldn`t use it long term but you could swap in your 600W Corsair for testing purposes, see how that goes before purchasing anything new, it may also be necessary to get the GPU tested by a local tech, you getting the no signal message means that the screen is fine and that the problem is with the source of the video - the GPU, this includes the card not getting enough clean and stable power from the PSU.
