Pc not turning on, peculiar problem.

Guys i don’t have a single clue, what is happening with my pc.
The problem started yesterday, i pushed the power button, waited for a sec and it shows “no signal” in the monitor, i checked the fans and it wasn’t moving at all, so i thought maybe it has to do something with the power button.
I unplugged the cabinet power buttons and tried to jumpstart it, but as usual nothing runs(no fans running and i know that my motherboard is getting power, it has a small rgb light in it). Then i tried the following things:
    1. Replaced the cmos battery - not fixed
    2. Replaced the power cable - not fixed
    3. Unplugged and replugged the components(including hdd, ssd, power supply, rams, i have no gpu btw ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ)

And after that i tried to jump start and voila it works now!!! the fan is running. And the story ends but wait.

Next day it happens again (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻, this time i replugged all the components again and it works now. What the hell is happening, i highly doubt the ram slot is faulty but am not sure, cause the next time i diagnosed it, the jumpstart worked after i removed the rams.

    My pc specs:
Motherboard : Asu a320m prime gaming motherboard

    Apu : ryzen 3 2200g
Power Supply : Corsair Cx 450 watt
    Rams: 2x 4gb 3200mhz hyperx savage
    Storage : 1 ssd 120gb 2 hdd 500gb

    Any advice, any solutions..

    Welcome to the Forums urten.

your problem could almost be anything - from dust buildup causing a short, to oxidised contacts on the memory chips or motherboard slots, to a faulty power supply, or a failing component.

    how old is the rig?

since you seem comfortable with a screwdriver and generally tinkering, I would suggest dismantling the whole setup and reassembling all the pieces on a piece of sturdy cardboard on a table or floor and forgetting about the case for now.

if it all works in that Frankenstein state, then reassemble it back in the case and see how it goes.
if it still misbehaves, having all the components readily accessible will make further work easier.

      Thanks for the reply Bruce,
The rig is barely 2 years old.
Changed the thermal paste just 2 months ago. My setup is clean so i don’t think its dust build up.

And it worked in both dismantled and after reassembled state. But i am scared of if the problem again starts tomorrow.

Have you tried what they have suggested on the other forums that you have posted this on and what was the outcome?
