    Dual screen setup

    Hello,

Trying to boost my WFH setup (yes, this late in the game) with a 2nd screen - the laptop we use has 2 x USB C ports, I use a USB C to VGA adapter to connect to the screens, so need both ports for that. However, the charging is also done via USB C so I’m needing to reach around my desk or behind the screens 2/3 times a day to change which cable is plugged in and it’s a bit of a chore and I’m close to abandoning my idea

Can anyone suggest a solution? If there is one? I tried a VGA splitter, but that just duplicated the screen (unsurprising really) and a USB C to USB A adapter in order to connect the second screen but that didn’t work (also tried the charging this way, but, as assumed, didn’t work). My knowledge in this area is very limited, so looking for some help please

    Jason

sounds like a docking station would be best, something like this; https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/b...multiport-dock
