Brother printer DCP-197C no longer scans?

Since Flash player has been removed by Adobe my printer will no longer scan?
The control panel appears as usual but as soon as scan is selected the control panel is “blocked” by large Flash player decal…please see attachment. Can you advise means to enable my scan option Thanks.Operating sysytem Windows 10 X64

Hi Rusty Yes that was my first port of call, updated both the firmware and software, but scanner still blocked out by flashplayer logo (as shown in attachment).
The printer scanner control panel comes up when selected,but the minute I select scan the block comes in?
It would appear I need something to replace flashplayer (now withdrawn from Adobe),there doesn’t seem much to choose from, hence my post on PC help forum.
