    SD Card Trouble

    Hello everyone!

I wasn’t sure where to post this really, so I apologize if this is in the wrong area.

I’ve been using SD cards for several long years now. I create play-throughs for video games. I know how to use SD cards, how to lock them and everything. A little while ago my computer stopped allowing me to do anything with them. I can copy files off my SD cards, but it won’t let me rename the files or delete them on the SD cards. Which is really strange. At first I thought my SD cards were broken, despite being brand new. Anyways I tried using them on another computer and they worked fine. I could rename them and delete the files, but for some reason my main PC won’t let me do anything with them. I checked the locks on the side of the SD cards, but flipping that doesn’t do anything. So I’m at a loss here.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Is there any driver updates for the SD card reader?
If not then try reinstalling the current drivers.
It may be the reader is failing.

Thanks for responding. I’m using the regular SD Card driver. I did try to update it, but that didn’t work. Also I did uninstall and reinstall it, but that didn’t help either. I think it might be failing. I’m going to try to get an SD card adapter.
