are you using the HDMI port?
and a good quality HDMI 1.4 cable?
is the display settings in Windows set to 100% scale and 1920x1080 resolution?
don’t forget, it’s only a 2K monitor - I had the same experience when buying my 27" curved Samsung screen, only after the fact I realised it could only go to 1920x1080 as I bought it purely on price.
so in fact it has no better resolution than my old 24", it just has more screen real estate to make everything that little bit bigger.

Is the display adapter/graphics card set to the correct resolution?
