Video editing monitor

I am going to buy a monitor mainly for photo and video editing and i am interested in this 2: Dell Ultrasharp 27" U2719DX WQHD and Samsung 32" J590 UHD.
I have compared the two in displayspecifications.com (in the screenshot the Samsung is on the left and Dell on the right) and the Samsung has more coverage of color spaces than the Dell, but the Dell has an IPS panel which i read have better color reproduction than MVA panels. Also, the Dell is brighter but the Samsung has a better contrast ratio and higher resolution.
I don’t know if it’s important but i will use the monitor as an extention of my laptop via HDMI.
I care about which one would give me the best color reproduction and image quality overall. I am not an expert on the subject obviously so if someone could tell me which one would be better for photo and video editing or at least explain why i should consider one over the other i will apreciate it very much.

the prices for those monitors tell me that although they are high-end, mainstream monitors, they are not in the league of professional ones used by photographers.

the REALLY good ones start at over $1000, whereas those two are around $400.
they have a much bigger colour gamut, can be calibrated, have a matte finish and can accommodate a hood to cut out ambient light - all those things effect colour reproduction.
and yes, use the HDMI port. these things require a digital port so DVI, DisplayPort or HMDI is a must.

so as with most things, it comes down to budget and your requirements.
anything less than a professional screen will not reproduce colours as they would be printed. so it’s a question of how much imperfection you are prepared to live with for the price you are prepared to pay.

Thank you for your answer! I am aware that truly professional monitors are way more expensive. I do not expect these to be the best monitros out there, just had a doubt about if its better an IPS brighter display or an MVA with better color specs. I am interested in this 2 in particular because i live in Argentina and taxes are really high here, so each monitor will be almost double its original price and i do not intend to spend much more than maybe $700.

To choose a monitor there is no better way than to go and view them, preferably side by side. Also comparing a 27 inch to a 32 inch is not a fair test.
