My Logitech mouse is NOT happy.

    Hello all!!

Ok, so for the last 5 years I have had a Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard (Wired) and a Logitech M185 Mouse
(Wireless Logitech Nano Receiver) I have recently just upgraded my Keyboard to a Corsair K68, and still want
    to use my Logitech Mouse.

    Here lies the problem..

The mouse just will NOT operate without the G15 Keyboard plugged in.. the Corsair KB works without any problem.
I’m assuming it’s all driver’s and software related, but cannot understand why it still thinks it’s married to the G15
when one is Wired and one is wireless.

Any help would be VERY much appreciated!
    Thanks.

Have you tried removing the drivers for any keyboard and or mice that are installed. Reboot and see what works without any drivers. I know the wireless mouse will work and cant see why the keyboard wont work, although both keyboard and mouse will have reduced operating features. If all is then ok try to reinstall drivers and see.

      Hey gus,

Have done that, mucked around uninstalling, reinstalling and updating drivers and end up with the same result.
I have also tried the Logitech Connect Utility (which doesn’t register) and also the Logitech Options Driver prog.
I have tried other wireless mouses and they work fine aswell.
As soon as I plug that G15 in the mouse works instantly again. Hmmmm..

      Appreciate the help!

have you tried re-running the Logitech Unifying Setup software (not to be confused with Logitech Options) and seeing if that helps re-pair the nano receiver with the mouse.

                Hey plodr,

Completed all those steps, and still nothing unfortunatley.

Then once again, I plug the Logitech KB in and the mouse instantly works lol. Grrr.

That’s very odd. It’s as if Logitech has a way to ensure you only use their products. LOL.
But do you remember ever linking these two maybe when you have first installed them both?

Sorry, I’m out of ideas. I don’t use any Logitech keyboards and most of our mice are Microsoft.
As far as the one very, very old Logitech mouse I’m using, I never installed the Setpoint software.

In fact, the mouse is so old that it doesn’t use a tiny USB dongle, it uses this
