I will be cloning Windows XP Pro to USB drive. Is it true that only the OS will be accessible in the USB drive… or can I partition the drive & transfer other files to the drive also?

As long as the drive has spare free space after cloning then you can create another partition and add whatever you want. Probably best to clone first and then partition.
BTW: after the USB drive is cloned you wont have to have a seperate partion to add files to as it could be done on the partition containg the O/S.Comment

I ended up just cloning the Windows XP Pro OS to a 16GB USB drive, using free Acronis True Image HD… no partition. I saw it said “Linux” somewhere during the clone. Hope it went well. Not about to test it by reformatting, using the USB, because all is fineComment
