    Recover files from USB

    Hi,

I’ve for a USB flash drive that Windows recognizes when its plugged in. It doesnt show on ‘Computer’ or ‘Computer Management’ I have tried Stellar Recovery, EaseUS Recovery and File Recovery from Seagate and GetData.

Only getdata sees the USB but lists it as No Readable Media.
I have tried list disk in CMD and that doesnt see it.

I’ve for UBCD, PartedMagic and GParted but unsure where to look in PartedMagic and GParted.

Could anyone help with trying to recover these?

    Thank you

      Hi Jaymie.
I had a Flash Drive last week with the same problem. I tried everything to recover approx 5000 images.
I was unsuccessful and lost the drive in the end.
      Hope you have more success.

          Hey guys,

Unfortunately recuva doesn’t see a drive. Only getdata sees something but it’s not readable.
I can’t create an image of it this leaves me to think it’s plain dead

once you have exhausted all other options, you could do a quick format of the USB drive.
that’ll just kill the boot sector and leave the data as is but should do enough to the drive to give it a drive letter so Recuva can see it.

There’s nothing that can see the drive to format it.
CMD, disk management, easeus disk partition, hp format tool can’t see it.
