    Question About Mouse

I know this is simpler to this> https://pchelpforum.net/t/hacked-wir...66/#post-34433 & this might sound like a silly question but I’m trying to be serious, sometimes my mouse moves like crazy on it’s own until I move it & other times it moves so slow like it’s trying to be stuck in that same spot. Are those 2 things signs of the mouse being hack or nothing 2 worry about. Please help.

Btw, I was told to post this new question.

To add to Dougie’s suggestion, can you confirm if this is a laptop, desktop pc, wired, or wireless rodent?

Have you tried another mouse, and or reinstalling the mouse driver, the basic windows driver should work ok with just about any mouse?

        It’s a Wireless Rodent/Mouse

I’m using a Laptop w/ Wireless Mouse. I do have another Wireless Mouse but it’s being used for the desktop PC.

Can you perhaps uplug the known good transmitter and mouse from your desktop and plug it into your laptop, and see what happens?

I’ll try that later on today, currently I have the touchpad disabled to see if that was the cause. Could a conflict occur between touchpad & wireless mouse?

Anything is possible, but if the touchpad is disabled unlikely. let us know when you have tried changing the mouse.

I’ll let you know. Could you leave this open as “Pending OP Response” so I can let you know?

My original mouse seems to be working fine now. I think the problem was is that I had the Transmitter plugged in the wrong side of the Laptop. I moved the transmitter to the right side of the Laptop & a notification came up saying “Adding Device” & since then, I haven’t seen any more issues.
