Xiaomi issues

Hello! I have a Xiomi phone, that started acting weird recently.
The issue is with the gallery and MOSTLY the camera app. Whenever i take a picture, it gets deleted (bad format or file cannot be found) all of the sudden.
What should i do?

It never did this before.

Where have you set the camera to store its photos to, I believe on Androids you can tell it a default location, like a SD card for example.

Hello! it saves it to the SD Card, sorry i couldn’t reply i wasn’t home.

In that case, it sounds like the SD card has gone pear shaped.
You could try reformatting it, losing all it’s data, or if mine, I would just replace it with another.
Once you lose faith in a storage medium, I see no reason to keep using them, especially when SD cards are cheap.
