My phone got its LCD display completely demolished, unusable. Still, it powers on and I can see the side commands and the sensor working, so there might be home it can still be used to recover some stuff and mostly to create/update my WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business backups.
I read that it can be connected to a TV or PC and then by using the mouse the screen icons can be clicked on and get something done. Anyone has experience on this? Thanks.

I would say that that is for those who have a broken display but can still see something, my display is so broken that nothing is visible, I would need something to mirror the phone onto the PC or TV.
Also guys do you know where the WhatsApp Business backup is saved? I can see a backup dated 11th May on my GDrive but no idea where the Business one is saved.
To do this you need to access cast/mirror on the phone.
Since your phone has a busted screen and you cant see where you are to activate the cast/mirror it will be hard but not impossible

Yep, unfortunately is busted, completely as you can see.
Iβm not really planning to get it fixed as I was quoted too much. I was suggested by Unihertz assistance to try connecting an otg mouse, God knows how/if that would work.
The side buttons seem to work (I can glimpse the volume bar changing), and the sensor works as the display lights up, I think it navigates, plus thereβs also scrolling assistance via keyboard. Iβm afraid I donβt know anyone with this phone, itβs very few of us left with these physical keyboard phones.
Have looked around.
It MIGHT be possible, BUT you will need a lot of time and patience.
LCD mirroring aside, what about to βonlyβ access the files in it for now? I can see the phone works and charges, if I connect the USB though thatβs what it does by default (I believe itβs all the same for all Android phones), it charges, only I canβt toggle from the display βfile transferβ of course, any other way to see the drive from the PC, there must be a way surely.
